ECA

Gemma, Hesham, Suyog are doing a E.C.A ( Extra Curricular Activity) to teach students about Batch programming and we teach the students about technology that has been developed over the last few years.
Kids will learn great stuff in our E.C.A. We hope to increase the knowledge about technology even more.We did this action so student at KICS could learn all about Batch.

                                                               This is useful action that has worked.

Convincing Mr. Simon to get us 1 to 1 Laptops

For a part of our action we tried convincing Mr. Simon to get us 1 to 1 Laptops. We did this because our Laptops in school are very old and are not updated. Estefanos and Marwan and Yousif wrote that we would like each child to get his own Laptop just like in K.A.S. For a extra part we said if you are not convinced at least let the Junior children get there own devices because some of the children see it is hard to use something that they are not used to. We did not want to do this for just having laptops, we did this so that KICS has updated technology. Also when new students come they will learn and see new types of technology.When we sent it to Mrs. Danielle we asked her to proofread it, and  when she checked it she shared it with some of the  senior staff. She said it was great!
                                                               These are one of our succeeding actions.

Action = Teacher Workshop

Today Leila and Hania had a workshop for teachers about shortcuts. The teachers of our school learned  a lot today about how to use shortcuts on a keyboard. The workshop took place on Wednesday 9th April 2014 in the 6A classroom.

This was a great action that most of the teachers have learned from, and if most of the teachers are using it then it is a successful action.

Ms. Evie trying out the shortcuts on her computer.
Ms. Amanda trying to learn from the video.

Hania explaining to the teachers.

I would like to say thank you to: Miss Maria, Mr.Jo, Ms. Randa, Ms Jo, Ms. Tanya, Ms Dominique , Ms Rasha, Ms Amanda, Ms. Evie, Ms Champa and Ms. Lamia.

Please email exhibitiontechnologykics@gmail.com or 21leila@kics.sd if you have lost a copy of the shortcuts or want a copy.
